Everything Everywhere All at Once

Good luck! :techman:

Yeah, nice trip down memory lane.

Strange New Worlds blew me away at due to its lightness and fun but also dramatic and personal moments, the best Trek since the 90s.

Andor blew the door wide open as to what Star Wars could be if it just stayed away a bit from Jedi, Lightsabers and giant space battles ( which is still fun). This show has a deeply human element and we can relate to it much better than galaxy shattering events and it is carried by stellar acting ( which is the case for most Disney TV shows so far).

The Batman was a masterpiece in cinematography and setting a certain mood - more than once i was amazed at certain shots, their composition and of course the entire cast was brilliant ( Paul Dano in particular, i have never seen a movie Batman villain that unhinged and creepy since Ledger's Joker).

Marvel though was a big disappointment this year in the overal sense, but especially the movies. I found Strange 2, Black Panther and Thor really lacklustre to really bad ( Thor), fortunately most TV shows were quite good and entertaining which put Marvel in total in the positive column for me ( but barely).

Interesting that out of 20 entries there are only 2 original productions and the rest are all sequels.

I'll probbly learn later that the ones I thought were original are actually adapted from books.

Anyways I voted, now I'm off to consume some disposable products the same as the ones I consumed last week. ;)

The poll has closed, and the results are in! With seven votes, our winner is......

Nerys Myk!

I don't know if it's fair to say that Strange New Worlds was your favourite new production of 2022, but it was definitely your favourite avatar here!

Honourable mention to Andor, which was right behind it with six votes, making it a close finish!

Congratulations, @Nerys Myk , the next contest is all yours!

And thank you to everyone who entered and/or voted! :techman:

oh i was too late... i would have voted
EverythingEverywhere and Andor
I also really liked Wednesday

^You would still have had two more votes.

I'm a bit shocked to see Thor 4 got two votes and Wakanda Forever got none. I mean, I didn't like either enough to vote for them, but still.

Anyway, congratulations to @Nerys Myk .

^¨and i forgot to say, it was nice to see your collection of avatars that didnt make it again=)
