Mekia Cox has been added to Fox’s untitled J.H. Wyman futuristic cop drama. She plays the ex-lover to John Kennex (Karl Urban).
It is set in the remote Siberian territory of Tunguska, location of the largest impact event on Earth, the massive 1908 explosion, believed to have been caused by a meteoroid or comet, which knocked down some 80 million trees over an area of 830 square miles. More than 100 years later, 16 reality-show contestants descend on Tunguska unknowing of the land’s mysterious past. When a contestant is badly injured and no help arrives the contestants realize that the strange occurrences are not part of the show. With their safety threatened, competing contestants must band together in an effort to survive. The series, said to be in the vein of The Blair Witch Project, is currently in production with 6 episodes completed.
this genre of faux competition-reality series reminds me of
I'd rather see JRR Martin try his hand at an epic space opera saga next.
Described as in the vein of Hot Fuzz and Twin Peaks with a Nordic noir twist, Hellfjord centers on a disgraced Oslo police officer (Ali) who, after a freak horse accident, is banished to serve out his last three months on the force in the remote and strange fishing town of Hellfjord.

Key people: Creator/director Michael R. Roskam (Bullhead), producer Michael Mann (Luck), producer Mark Johnson (Breaking Bad).
The pitch: Should it get picked up, Belgian director Roskam's first English-language project (after his Oscar-nominated feature debut Bullhead 68) will be a crime drama set in a near future where "violent crimes and strange science" meet. The project was announced last fall, but few details have surfaced in the interim, and HBO hasn't officially ordered anything more than a script so far (though the project is apparently still alive).

The cast also includes Kandyse McClure (Dualla from BSG) and Aaron Douglas (Tyrol from BSG). McClure is visible in a couple of the trailers, but isn't included on any of the cast lists, so I don't know how big her role is. I haven't read or seen anything with Douglas, but IGN says that he will be one of the cast members at the show's WonderCon panel next weekend.I searched the thread, and I noticed no one has posted the trailers for Eli Roth's Netflix orignal series Hemlock Grove.
The newest trailer that popped up a week or two ago:
An older, longer trailer:
They've got some other trailers on the Netflix's official page too. (The above trailers are the "Trailer" and "Emperor" trailers.) And just to warn you there is some gore and a tiny bit of nudity.
Looks awesomely creepy to me.

I'm still waiting for someone to film Fevre Dream, his epic Civil War vampire novel.
