Voted. At least I think so. It's so hard to tell... the screen is all blurry, no idea why...

Since misery loves company, here are some more sad alternates...

The original Enterprise was like a character in a way that the subsequent shows/movies never seemed to capture.

Steins;Gate is just full of the sadz. This one is a major one, but it is also one that's more easily adaptable to an avatar.

(Sorry about the banding... it was a compromise to keep the file size under 1 MB, but still be large enough to read the tiny subtitles.)

One of my go-to avatar sources, 12 Monkeys.

But not all sad scenes need to be about death and destruction. This final one is of Jim Lovell looking down on the landing site that he'll never get to land at in Apollo 13.
