Contest: ENTER SF&F Avatar Contest: Stand Back, I'm Going to Try Science!

Scientists the world over are working to try to unravel the mysteries of the novel coronavirus, so I thought it would make a good contest to look at scientists in the SF&F realm.

Our theme for this contest is The People of Science in SF&F. So scientists, science officers, professors of science, etc. It doesn't even have to be modern or future science; a character who dedicated themselves to scientific endeavours of their time would still be eligible--for example, the maesters in GoT.

Everyone may enter up to two entries. Your entries should be a maximum of 200 x 200 pixels, and 1 MB. Your entries have to be SFW. Please identify the character(s) in your entry, and what movie/show/comic/video game they come from. The contest will be open for about a week.
