Are there any good sites for making GIFs out of youtube videos? I usually use GIFs.com, but it's being stupid and keeps giving me an error message every time I try to use a Youtube video.

Try Ezgif.com . Haven't tried it with youtube but it works great for just about anything else.

I don't think Ezgif works well with converting YouTube videos. I usually have to convert it first, like on GIFs (nice to know that it's not just me having problems with the site currently). Or, I convert the YT video to a downloadable mp4, which I then upload on Ezgif.

I do use Ezgifs for cropping and resizing GIFs though, and it was the first place I tried when GIFs.com was being weird.

Found a new site to use, Kapwing, that worked, so here's my second entry.

You can use WIN-G to open the screen capture tab and record the part of the video you want straight to your computer. Then you can edit it with Ezgif.
