This show is too jolly good to take the risk that it doesn't get entered...

I wanted to enter this:
But I can't seem to get it to one megabyte.
I've removed frames, reduced the color as low as to 55 only, and reduced it in lossy (with the EZGif website) until it looked like shit. I even cropped out some of the sides, cutting part of the book off but stopping just shy of cutting off part of the glasses.
Anybody else got any ideas?

Just the still image would work; I'd vote for it.
I am by no means an expert at this, but I made an attempt at this for you. This was the best I could do:
Note that the only way I could make it work was with some *serious* frame removal, so it may not be up to your standards, but you're welcome to use it if you'd like.
Otherwise, I defer to someone with more skills in this area (or better software!)...
