Well I've been late posting this in part from tending to an ailing cat, so I'm hoping for a karmic boost with this theme... and some cool entries!

Animals in SF/F

...they can be ordinary animals in genre contexts, or sf or f creatures as well. Should be a wide range of possibilities!

Amanda Tucker's (Actress Catherine Hicks) cat from "Tucker's Witch".

It was a short-lived series. Nothing bad, but nothing remarkable. A little fun. Certainly good be revived for television today.

Anyway, in the universe of the show, witches are real, but it's really not common knowledge. Amanda and her husband run a detective agency. Sometimes she'll get signals and pictures in her mind, communicated via her cat:

^ I knew I wanted to do something from GoT, but it was a choice between Ghost and one of the dragons. I went with a dragon because, well, dragons. But here's the other one that I didn't use:
