Spoilers Severance on Apple+

I watched it when it was first released and found it to be very surreal with some really clever and shocking twists. I really liked it, but I'm afraid it's been so long since Season 1 ended, I'm probably forgetting some of the important bits. I'll have to do a re-watch before Season 2.

I just binged this over the weekend: wow. It reminded me of a season long Black Mirror episode (I could see both being set in the same universe) in a good way. It was unnerving at times and I liked the use of liminal space to create that sense. Im excited for season 2 in January.

Can’t wait for Season 2 and we will be binging Season 1 again before it does.

It’s one of the most casually sadistic things I’ve ever experienced.

‘A Five Minute Music/Dance Experience’ indeed.

As with things like Catch 22, I find myself laughing at it, then feeling like I’m a bastard for finding it funny.

Severance is both horrifying and hilarious at the same time. I think that’s the genius of it.

I know not everyone's going to be interested in this, but for those who are... a Severance: Season 1 blu-ray release (as well as a DVD release) has been announced for December 17, just in time for another run-through before season 2 drops.

I'm usually only subscribed to Apple TV+ when I get some kind of promotional offer, so I'm always happy when an Apple TV+ show/movie gets a rare physical media release.

Interview with Ben Stiller on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Ben Stiller shows his prized Star Trek memorabilia (2m50s), and also, scenes of upcoming season 2 of Severance (@ 6m).

He also mentioned that they just did a podcast rewatch of the first season, which involved the cast. I wish I had known about the podcast sooner so I could've started my rewatch earlier in order to incorporate it. As is, I probably will only have time for just the rewatch.

A shame since I've enjoyed past podcast rewatches which interview cast members, writers, and other production personnel, such as The West Wing Weekly and The Good Place: The Podcast.

I just finished a rewatch of this show to get ready for Friday. Looking forward to the new season, and you also have the finale of Silo as well. Next weekend is going to be a nice weekend for Apple TV+.

After Amazon Canada getting the blu-ray in stock well after the release date, and after some shipping delays around New Years, I finally got my season 1 blu-ray on January 6, and started my rewatch of the season this weekend. Still an amazing show, even when you already know where it's going.

As per usual, I probably won't resubscribe to Apple TV+ until the season is all out (or at least mostly all out), so that I can watch multiple episodes at a time. So I'll be staying away from this thread beginning Friday. But here's hoping season 2 is up to the same level of quality as the first one, and I hope you all enjoy it!
