Severance (2006)

Holdfast

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
Severance

Anyone see this movie? I stumbled upon it on TV last night, and it's a comedy-slasher type of movie, with some funny visual gags. Nothing truly outstanding, but a pretty tight script, some gory stuff, and a decent cast mean that if you've in a beer & pizza mood with a few friends over and want a movie to chuckle at, I recommend it. :)

Yeah, rented it a few years ago. I'd say it's generally only worth the one watch though (unless you're *really* into this kind of thing.) Fun and worth a watch but I won't expect to find it on anyone's desert island DVD list. ;)

Personally I thought the bit with the spring-board was the funniest part of the whole film..shame it was right near the start.

My favourite bit was the OTT US CEO with the RPG*. The use of Souza's Stars and Stripes Forever playing in the background was inspired!

(*could I have fit more abbreviations into that sentence?)

Oh, and "you found a pie?!"

You'll have to forgive me, I haven't seen it in several years so I only vaguely remember that bit. In fact other than the spring board and Captain Darling's mild cheese obsession I'm actually struggling to remember anything specific at all...perhaps it's time I gave it another look. ;)

I thought this thread was gonna be about Joan Severance, who was really hot once upon a time. :(

Steve was the funniest character in the movie and his bad drug trip... one of the best I've seen in movies.

It's probably the best thing Danny Dyer had ever done, which isn't really saying much though.

I never even noticed he was in it - it was before his recent slew of DTV movies that tur up once a week, and I think before his crappy TV series - saw it for Tim McInnerny, so that makes it the only Danny Dyer film I've got.

Tempted to drop it in a charity shop just for having Dyer in it, actually...

That leaves me with a dilemma. Should I dump my copies of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas for the same reason?
