The International Association of Media Tie-in Writers has announced the nominees for the 2024 Scribe Awards, which reward excellence in tie-in fiction for the calendar year 2023.
Among the nominees are a bunch of Trek works.
For Best Novel--Speculative, two of the five nominees are Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: The Autobiography of Benjamin Sisko by Derek Tyler Attico and Star Trek: Picard: Firewall by @David Mack.
For Best Short Story, two of the seven nominees are stories that appeared in Star Trek Explorer: Mr. Mack's "Lost and Founder" and my own "Work Worth Doing."
In addition, Trek novelist @JJMiller got a nomination for a Skull and Bones graphic novel.
I posted the full list of nominees, as well as my thoughts on this particular nomination, to my blog.
Congrats to all the nominees!
