Any idea why it is that in early episodes like "Revulsion", Seven is totally unfazed by the idea of sex with another person, but in later stories she's quite awkward and unsure when it comes to having relationships?
But probably this...Because as Seven’s humanity began to reassert itself, she began to realize there was a difference between “sex” and “relationships,” and, not having even had a friend before, having a close emotional relationship was understandably frightening to her. The early Seven would’ve (and did) dismiss relationships as “irrelevant."

I got the impression that early on, Seven was only doing what she thought was expected of her. Later on, she understood everything better and thus reacted differently.
That, or inconsistant writing.

'Humanity' has problems making this distinction IRL, so that can't be it.
Seven has no business thinking about sex at all. My God, it took her two months just to find out about EATING.
