Did an episode get cut? It had been announced as five, plus Christmas, plus eight, but now there's only seven post-Chrimbo episodes.

EDIT: Or, is Christmas not 706? Now I'm confused.

Some photos from filming the 6th episode

Is that a fez in two of the pics? :D Also, the guy holding the coats in the 2nd pic almost looks like Rory if you squint hard enough.

Now we know what's parked next to that Vespa. One day, we WILL see the zeppelin we know he keeps in there.

Also, that coat is awesome. :)

Oh lord. TWO Gatiss stories this time? I sure hope he steps up his game this season.

The coat IS awesome, but the outfit in general could use a bit more color.

Definitely could use a bright colored tie.

Not a fan of the coat. Maybe its just the texture but with the length, it looks a bit too much like a granny sweater.

I'm absolutely thrilled that not only Neil Gaiman is returning (which we already knew) but that Neil Cross (Luther) is writing TWO episodes!

Also, The Return of the Fez! :D

Thanks, I looked him up on IMDB and saw he's done a lot of Luther, which I haven't seen, but, I get the impression it's fairly well lauded for quality. I was hoping that meant someone thought he could be very good for 2 eps of Who

What about Stephen Thompson? I wasn't able to track him down?

Spectacular! The Doctor on a motorcycle again! He needs to ride more motorcycles. Motorcycles are cool.

Stephen Thompson wrote The Curse of the Black Spot and also works on Sherlock.
Well, if he's got the Sherlock Pedigree, I'll just have to hope I enjoy this episode more than his first (I'm not a big Pirate fan, so that may have colored my enjoyment of the episode)

Oh, and I notice I've been remiss with mentioning Gaiman, His writing credit is a definite PLUS++++
