Series 4 soundtrack out today!

So, the Series 4 soundtrack with 27 tracks of Doctor Who musical goodness was released today (on iTunes too!). Did anyone get it yet? Anyone have any fave tracks?

It is indeed awesome...I love Noble Girl Around Town which is played during Partners in Crime! Davros is sweet. The Doctor's Daughter....a few others that I can't remember off the top of my head.

Just got mine today too. I'm only halfway through, but I love the pulse-pounding "Corridors and Fire Escapes" the best. Some of the best action music I've heard in a long time.

And while I didn't care for the Voyage of the Damned episode, I have to admit the music by itself is really damn good.

A Dazzling End, The Voyage of the Damned Suite (I agree while I enjoyed the episode the music was better), and the Source.

"Life Among The Distant Stars", and "The Rueful Fate of Donna Noble". In the former I keep picturing Rose watching him leave while holding anothers hand, and in the latter I just picture Donna crying and saying "Please don't send me back", and "The Doctor/Donna in the TARDIS". I think it might have better if she actually did die.

Huh? Didn't this come out two months ago? Or has there been a delay for non-uk releases?

Anyway, I thought the soundtrack was great. Doctor Who is really lucky to have some like Murray Gold.

Cheapskate that I am I'm waiting for HMV or someone to reduce it

(This is normally the point where Bob or someone sends a link to where it's already been reduced :D )

Can anyone tell me what the music they used in the cinematic trailer is called? I love that piece. Also, most epic trailer for anything by anyone ever.

Yeah, that skutter is a know it all bastard, isn't he? :p

An awesome soundtrack. I still prefer season 3's though. The music from Human Nature/The Family of Blood is brilliant.
On Season 4, A Dazzling End and most of the music from Stolen Earth/Journey's End is fantastic.

It's an awesome soundtrack but I too found myself enjoying the series three soundtrack more, found myself being disapointed by some of the cuts used in the series four soundtrack but it's still really good.

Okay, I asked this in a previous thread, but I had some (what I consider to be) inconclusive answers...

...so I just have a quick question: there's a scene in Partners in Crime where Donna and Wilf have a heart to heart while gazing up in the stars. It really is a beautiful, wonderfully deep scene, with some really careful and poignant background music. I just want to ask if anyone has noticed if that part is in this collection...?

On a much more conclusive note, I definitely like A Pressing Need To Save the World, and I love how some bits of All The Strange, Strange Creatures are reworked for this piece. Both songs are urgent, but a different kind of urgent.

Arrgh, just checked my Amazon order and they're sayiing 9 to 12 days to ship...bastards.

That is what happened to me as well. So, I just canceled my order and ordered it again through the Amazon Marketplace. I hardly have had any problems ordering from sellers.

Agreed , The Series 3 soundtrack is much more epic than Series 4. After I got this back in November, I listened for while then put it away and put series 3 back on again. :) Some tracks are good, I found myself liking the VoTD suite alot.
