Interesting....what exactly ARE we looking at here? What type of craft? When was it launched, etc?

Early 21st century ion-engined long haul freighter. The upper and lower pods are detachable, allowing simple changeouts of loads. Think of the spacegoing equivalent of long-haul truckers.
