Amazing work Spockboy! I loved it both as a big fan of silent cinema and Trek. I loved the nod to George Milies and I loved the inclusion of Styles in this as well. Nice nods there. The FX work is nothing short of amazing and if John Byrne can make new Star Trek comics by cutting and pasting pictures in Photoshop, then I'd be happy to see you construct new eps, mini-eps in this style.
Loved seeing this whole sequence with the classic ships, especially the lobby shot. When I saw that sequence in Trek 3 I both loved it and was bummed that we'd never get to see something like that with the original ship. Thanks for that!
There are not enough smiley thumbs up icons to express how awesome this was and I hope you guys do some more Sepia Trek.
Two very minor nits as a silent film fan though:
1. Inter titles didn't usually have things like "gasp!" on them but I still found it funny.
2. I would've loved a switch to a blue tint for the exterior shots once the ships left the space dock. A lot of silent films switched to a blue tint for exterior shots to indicate when it was night time. Some films used standard black and white when during the day, both in and outdoors, a sepia tone for indoors at night and a blue tint for outside at night.
In that case "Silent Trek" might be more apt as a title.
