...an aged human-looking Lore in starfleet uniform?

After having emotion for a while, he wants to more accurately emulate a human?

Someone altered him because they want him to secretly replace Alton Soong.

Given that they show Lore in the same airlock-looking place as Moriarty, I feel like it's probably not actually Lore, or if anything, a hologram rather than an android.

I moved part of the thread title into the post, as it seemed pretty spoilerish to be appearing on the forum's front page.

Didn't Data mention that he would appear to age over time in one of the TNG episodes? I think we can assume the same for Lore.

In the episode with Data's mother:

RIKER: Why does the scanner read her as a human?
CRUSHER: Because she has a feedback processor designed to send out a false bio-signal.
LAFORGE: It's part of her aging programme. Not only does she age in appearance like Data, her vital signs change too.
