Semi Finals - Britains Got Talent 2009

All I can say is WOW!. She was absolutely stunning. Well firstly Amanda Holden was clearly jealous and i've never been able to stand her, honestly she repulses me. As for Julia she was very talented, that was a fantastic dance and it's not easy and lastly Julia to me is one of the most beautiful amazing women I ever seen. She's honestly absolutely stunning beyond belief. There is a word that describes her and that word is perfection.

Diversity - Absolutely fantastic, the ingenuity going into the routines is top quality.

Susan Boyle to me was rubbish, didn't think she sang well at all. As for the rest, a few were good and some were less than average.

The thing with the semi-finals is that they are a complete and utter fix. Without fail, at least 4, if not all 5, will end with the act who performed last going through, as it did every time last year, with the next two being ultimately chosen by Cowell. Morgan and Holden always pick first and take opposite sides, leaving Cowell with the casting vote and the responsibility of bringing out the tears.

The set-up is always engineered too. 3 worthy acts will be in each semi with the other 5 being novelty and useless ie Darth Jackson, Faces of Disco. You could tell this from Saturday's show when they gathered the candidates together in specific groups. It's exactly the same as last year.

On top of that, two acts with the same talent in the same semi-final won't both go through. The little girl had no chance last night due to Boyle - who I agree was not that good last night at all, but she's basically won the whole thing based on her audition anyway. Oh, and she was also the last to perform, and hence was always going through regardless of the global media-storm around her.

I'm really too cynical for this show but I enjoy it nonetheless :D

Finally, Diversity aren't as good as Flawless!

God sake, I'm so fucking sick and tired of Susan Boyle, fact is she wasn'tas "good" as she was last time. The public are just in awe because an ugly person can do something better than the publics view of someone who is "pretty". It gets on my fucking nerves. She's good, yeah, but she's already signed on to Simon Cowells music company which means she's now a "professional" signer, she shouldn't be in an amateur competition.

Not to mention that Diversity were amazing. But now that ITV know how many viewers Susan Boyle can pull, because like I said, an ugly person can do something extraordanary, they will now take full advantage of it. Now they intentionally put her on the first show because they knew full well she would win with all the media attention she has gotten over the last few weeks. Now she's won, it means she'll be the last contestant to preform at the live final. Make her last, people will be more inclined to watch the whole show = more ratings. That's all they care about. Exploit a woman just for ratings.

I am looking forward to the Stavros father and son dance, I really enjoyed that and I think they should win.

As an outsider, I'd just like to say that Ant and Dec annoy the Hell out of me. They are prats on a level equal with any pop celebrity we have over here.

Funnily enough, Stavros Flatley were lined up as the final act in tonight's semi-final. Go figure... :guffaw:

Dunno how Stavors Flatley made it into the final, but they did make me laugh! :D

So Diversity took top honors. They were quite fabulous, I thought, although the competition was incredible. Flawless? Fantastic as well.

Susan Boyle looked terrified while waiting for the results, poor thing. And after seeing her parting... um...actions, I must say that there's something not quite right with her.

I'm glad Hollie was able to hold things together during her performance tonight. What pressure for a little girl!

She was deprived of oxygen at birth and was learning disabled. She hasn't held a job but once for a short time.

It's pretty obvious that she has some sort of mental handicap, on the mild side, but enough to affect her life and how she acts. Of course, society being what it is, she was bullied when young and now that she's performing, any quirks are made fun of and she is mocked.

I'm guessing some of this accounts for her appearance. After the first show, it was obvious someone had taken care of those bushy eyebrows.

She seemed to find it hard to handle the sudden pressure, and of course the vultures trying to upset her.

I'm sorry she didn't win. A bunch of hip-hop break dancing kids won. I thought break dancing was old news, but I guess the young ones who did the voting liked it better than a middle-aged woman with some odd quirks and of course who didn't look like Barbie.

Dam those kids can dance worthy winners but Susan will have a big career anyway. I hear the Queen wnats her n Paul Potts to do a duet at the Variety show and the queen gets what she wants ;)
