Bouncing this over from Peter David's blog. Since Josepha Sherman is a Trek writer, I hoped someone here might help.

To be specific, Josepha Sherman, a Connecticut-based writer, hasn’t been heard from in some months and various friends are becoming concerned. Her e-mailbox is overflowing and bouncing back mail, no phone numbers for her work, and she hasn’t posted on her Facebook page since last October. If anyone has direct contact with her, please have her check in with me or any of her other friends immediately.

Well that can't be good. Or it could be nothing. She may have just wanted to drop out for awhile. Hope for the best.

I was just yesterday realizing she hasn't done anything new for Trek in awhile.
 
Someone who knows her should call the police so they can go over to Josepha's place and see if she's alright.
 
There's a report on facebook that her agent has been in touch with her recently, so hopefully all is well.

Yeah. A well being check is really the best thing in these kinds of situations. Hope she's alright.
