Season Three 'sting' question

So there's a sting overlaid on the music when we first see the Romulan commander spin round on her chair in The Enterprise Incident. It appears throughout season three on its own. Two other examples being when Uhura informs Spock the transporter chief is dead in That Which Survives, and when Flint presses his control buttons to shrink the ship in Requiem for Methuselah.

My question is... Does anyone know if the sting is present on its own on the TOS Soundtrack Collection or just as a sweetener on the Enterprise Incident disc? I can't seem to locate it on its own, which is a shame...

I think it's the case of the 5 note drum overlaw in "Catspaw" which was heard on its own in "Obsession" but isn't on the album in the stings. Which means the version of cue without the drums (where Jackson falls off the pad) isn't available either. Some episode scores seemed to recreate a cue as heard in a specific episode and some didn't, such as "Amok Time" where the sting wasn't added to when the Vulcan put the giant knife to McCoy's throat. Or how "One's Enough" wasn't included on its own in the alternate/library cues even though it was heard as a comedy sting in a few episodes, such as "Mirror, Mirror." Instead it was placed in a different take of the finale music.

That's the one downside to an otherwise amazing set. There were a few inconsistencies, and some stuff wasn't in its "raw" form. Another example is the Enterprise flyby cue after Miranda says "I must know!" They joined it with the previous cue, as per ITITNB, but it was heard on its own in other season three episodes. I would have done exactly what the team did, except allow all the cues to be 'unjoined'.

Jackson collapsing off the platform in Catspaw and then Kirk storming out sickbay after speaking with the delirious Rizzo in Obsession are probably the quickest examples to locate for comparison.

Of course, I fully understand that, and my comments have no reflection on the gratitude I hold to you and the team for what is a truly astonishing treasure for any TOS fan
