I don't know if this has been discussed before, but surely it's not just me that thinks the CGI took a massive nosedive in season 7? Did the series have a budget cut at this point or something? New shots of the ship moving through space look overly cartoonish; at the moment I'm watching Imperfection and the opening shot of Voyager meeting the ship which takes away the Borg kids is awful. The way the "background stars" are moving around is just a mess.
Maybe they sourced their CGI requirements out to a new studio, but whatever the reason it is noticeable decline in quality...
