Spoilers Season 4 Trailer

Looks interesting. Universe in peril is getting tiresome though. And this gravity anomaly has strong ENT S3 vibes.
Much prefer the new "inverted colour" uniforms to the bland greys of season 3's finale.
They already changed the uniforms. :)
Not a fan of having another big arc. Rather they had smaller stories
That's what Strange New Worlds is for.

Ok, I'm probably going to get really criticized for this, but I thought it was kinda corny. I'm tired of these doomsday plots, and I was really hoping that now they are situated in the 32nd century things might be done on a little more of a smaller scale. Also the whole "We're all in this together" thing is so annoying at this point I just have to roll my eyes. The picard trailer was better. :(

Digging the new uniforms. Skeptical as to the universal peril but I like the approach in terms of building unity. Star Trek is all about optimism after all, right?

The Picard trailer was artistic and beautiful while saying nothing at all.

Yeah, I can’t say what I saw in the trailer made me think “this needs a whole season.”

I wish they’d drop the season-long arcs in favor of ongoing serialization with stories that start and end as warranted.

5 ly is not Universe scale, or Galaxy ending - but I wonder if it will be set to grow exponentially?

It was a teaser, so I was very much fine with it. This trailer is basically saying the same thing we've been seeing throughout the entire series so far. I want something different and a little smaller.

I don't think we will get that from Discovery. They have decided this is their path. Smaller will be Strange New Worlds or Lower Decks or some other such thing.

Mileage will vary. The Picard trailer left me rolling my eyes with all the stupid callbacks and the inevitable reveal. No thanks.
