Season 3

How's this for a challenge? The basic concept in spocks brain isn't bad....that is, a civilization run by a super computer which is actually a human (or Vulcan) brain.

If you were to re write the episode basing it on that premise, what would you do? What challenge , what drama?

1. Get rid of the remote-controlled Spock body, that was just silly.
2. Spock's head should have been shaved for the removal process, nevermind the reinstallation, but he should have at least had a bandage on his head after McCoy was finished.

I don't think they always shave heads for brain surgery nowadays.
But please get rid of zombie Spock and Spock giving McCoy brain surgery instructions. I'd rather Kirk or Scotty finish off the surgery.

The part I like about "Spock's Brain" is when McCoy uses the the Teacher to learn how to do the surgery, and comes out saying in wonder, "a child could do it." Kelley sells the concept.

Nah, Spock just has a flip-top head.
It's another one of those Vulcan physiological features that doesn't get mentioned until the plot calls for it.

Just like the crainal screw top method invented by Dr. Michael Hfuhruhurr.

He certainly does. This is the best scene in the entire episode.
