Season 3 Unfair "Bad Reputation?"

His performance plus the message of kindness and eschewing power make that episode definitely on the plus side for me. Yes, the embarrassment scenes go on too long. But I still like it.

I can remember, as a young tyke watching Star Trek during its initial run, definitely feeling at the time that season three had fallen into the crapper.

Of course, their launching the season with "Spock's Brain" didn't help.

In all fairness, though, today a few season three episodes are among my favorites. (But not "Spock's Brain.")
