Season 3 Theatrical Event Date Revealed

Let's not rush them. We don't need anther Season 2 quality issue.

It would just be a preview of 5 or less minutes, redoing that for the DS9 HD set, should it happen, should not be a problem. And it would go great right after Data tells Riker that the fleet has engaged the Borg. No scrolling back story, just Locutus giving Starfleet the Borg's ultimatum and the fight, no rescuing Jennifer and Jake either.

Finally! A Star Trek movie we can party about! I'm getting the group back together for this one. We're gonna watch all the episodes leading up to BOBW at my place and then go see the movie. Just like the old days! Thanks for the info!

Is anyone else having a hard time buying tickets for this on the Fathom Events website?

I just buy them at the theater. None of the previous two events have been sold out (here at least). My problem is that the theaters that it's showing at are not the best theaters in the city, the one closest to me has floors so sticky they act as mouse and rat traps. The one on the other side of of town from me I haven't been to, but I'm not sure I really want to go on suck a long trek to see something I'll be seeing on my home theater.

I really wish it was playing at better theaters here, the last two were held in newer theaters with state of the art sound systems (even though the season 2 even was marred by a lousy or lazy sound tech).

I couldn't find links to purchase tickets or even a list of participating theaters at the Fathom Events website. In fact, the only thing I could really find about it online pointed to Fandango and Cinemark's websites for tickets. Unfortunately... Even though multiple theaters in my area had season 1 AND 2 (which I had to miss), the closest theater for me this time (when I can actually go) is 2 hours away. Oh universe, why? :(

The release date is still a while away. More theaters should be adding them to their listings and making tickets available for purchase as we get closer to April.

Perhaps this season 3 theater showing will be much more limited compared to the first two seasons?

I doubt these showings are really for the fans, their main purpose is just advertising for the TNG Blu-Ray releases. I don't see CBS being able to get to showing a couple of episodes from each season of TNG, sadly. We have been pretty lucky to get as much as we have so far.

But I really hope they will eventually show "All Good Things" as a feature length movie!

I'm really excited about this event. Season 3 of STNG, Season 1 of Enterprise and of course the new movie are reviving some Trekkieness in me. Even enough to go to my first con in 20 years this year!

Which one are you attending if you don't mind my asking??

I know what you mean, these releases are bringing some excitement back which is nice. It's something old, yet at the same time, something shiny and new to admire!

Cherry Hill, NJ in late April.

The new trailer is so crisp and clear...love it.:techman:

Oops, just bought to tickets for downtown San Francisco. Oh well, guess I'll have to go. :p

Just bought my tickets for Valley View. At the season 2 screening, I was impressed at the amount of people there. I'm not taking any chances of not being able to go to this one!

I wish I could go to this! It just goes to show that relationships are no good... without them I might not have an anniversary on the same day as BOBW in theaters! ;)
