Spoilers Season 2 Trailers, Previews, and Promos

The OG queen is dead. Shouldn't it be Jurati getting stabby if it's real?
Depends. They may switch between showing the audience the two characters depending on which one has control of the body. IE, if Agnes is in control, the audience sees Agnes. If the Queen is, the audience sees the Queen. Like on Quantum Leap, the audience sees Sam even though the characters in the show see whoever he's leaped into for the episode.

We're seeing the Queen in Jurati's place because Jurati is going to struggle with the Queen and prevent her from dealing the killing blow. There's a scene in the preview where the Queen's knife arm seems frozen mid-swing. I think they edited those frames out of order for the teaser.

I'm still perplexed as to why she told Picard to "look up", just like his mom would.

Didn't Picard tell Renee to look up when he gave her the pep talk at the gala? It's a totally crazy theory but what if Renee is the Borg Queen in ep 1, repeating the "look up" to Picard like he told her at the gala? Maybe she gets assimilated when the Borg try to take the Europa ship? And maybe the weird Borg ship in ep 1 is built around the Europa ship?

Also, did the Borg Queen know Q would do what he did?

Jurati knew about Q's involvement. So if Jurati is the Borg Queen in ep 1, then the Borg Queen would know about Q's involvement.

I do think this entire season could be a big predestination paradox. The Borg come out of a temporal anomaly from the past, call for Picard for help because he has to come on the Stargazer to set the auto destruct, get sent to the confederation timeline by Q, go back in time, and cause the Borg Queen to go into the temporal anomaly.

Her career is almost a mirror image of Picard's. (She was so engrossed in Starfleet, she didn't have time for anything -- or ANYONE -- else. It ended up costing her her marriage ... and her family.)
JL and Wesley were close....wait....what???

Anyone else find that Kore wearing skimpy tops when the only person she's around is her dad, is kind of creepy?
Skimpy???? Looks like what a lot women wore in the 80's . It's not like she's in a bikini or something.

Raffi is taking it on the chin this season.

First Elnor ... Now, Seven (supposedly).
Star Trek: Ghost Squad. Coming soon to Paramount+

I sense a looming war between MrPicard and the real-world Mrs Picard.

If you’re referring to Sir Patrick’s wife… no. No war needed. I don’t want Sir Patrick. There would be… complications. (Most notably one adorable cinnamon roll complication named Jean-Luc Picard.) :shifty: Not to mention the fact that HE wouldn’t want ME either - let’s be realistic here. ;)

Now, a general observation I’ve been making (I shall refrain from going on about how ADORABLE Jean-Luc looks in those screencaps): Has anyone noticed how Not!Laris is looking more and more like Laris? She started out looking completely different style-wise - hair, outfit, ears - and now she and Laris almost look the same, even the clothing style, etc. I know Orla Brady said that Not!Laris is not Laris (lolol), but she did say there’s a connection, so, umm… this “subtle change” is probably something that’s being done deliberately on part of the show? (I’m pretty sure it is.)

That bit in the blurb about Picard needing to face the ghosts of his past is - yep - that clicks with part of my predictions for the remainder of the season. Somehow, something that can save them will tie into what remains of his past that Tallinn was unable to access before he awoke at the clinic.

You are nuts. I mean that in a nice way.
