I saw a post on youtube that maybe the Watcher took the Q's powers away to protect Renee. Does the Watcher have that ability? That would be very powerful. It would explain the scene with Q asking Adam Soong to remove an obstacle. Without his powers, Q has to resort to other means to get rid of Renee. Or is he asking Adam Soong to take out the Watcher?

I just saw the new preview on Youtube it looks exciting and we get to find out who Q wanted Adam Soong to be rid of was the Woman who was reading the book in episode four. And Brent Spiner's Adam Soong and Soji are going to be in it too.

Paramount has her past recordings from various iterations of Trek. Plus...........

While I don't know about Paramount having a library of Barrett lines the could mine from for computer dialogue, but I can confirm say was definitely not where her lines came from in Trek XI. Barrett herself actually recorded the computer dialogue for Trek XI prior to her death.

Besides, considering they've used different computer voices for STID, Beyond and all the current Trek shows, I'm pretty certain Barrett isn't going to be the voice of Starfleet's computers "for eternity."
