Maybe I'm wrong, but my read on the scene and teaser for next week is that M'Benga and Ortegas somehow retain their identities and pair up to solve what's happened. Ortegas hits her head and M'Benga seems woozy when he's on the way to the bridge. Maybe some kind of cerebral interference prevents them from getting sucked in?
I'm also hoping this will be an Ortegas showcase. It's high time! And I'm also looking forward to seeing Olusanmokun play some comedic notes and Chong and Mount in particular get to play against their typical characters.
