Searching for schematics/model designs of a rare ship type

Hello all,

This is not so much as a request of making a certain design/or schematics but rather if anyone on this forum has seen any design pictures or schematics of a rare ship type I am looking for.
Still, if someone would be interested in making such schematics/designs for the challenge of it, that would definitely be appreciated.

I am looking for detailed pictures and design schematics of a Borg assimilated transport that appeared in the Enterprise season 2 "Regeneration", the Artic One ship but modified.
I don't care much for the Enterprise series but I really liked this Borg ship design and would like to contact a model making company to ask if they would be interested in making a plastic model of it.
However they will be needing some good detailed pictures of it, that is why I am looking round for it now.

I have already visited sites such as the Star Trek Wiki: http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Arctic_One

And someone on Scifi-meshes pointed me at the entry on Neutral Zone Star Ship database http://www.neutralzone.de/database/indexfra.htm , where I found several more pictures.

Can anyone on this forum help me further?

There is a picture of this ship non-borgified for January 2008 in the ships of the line calendar. The irony of that is, on the side, there's a logo with the words "Arctic Exploration" with a stylized white outline of Antarctica under it.

Here it is:

So what on Earth is this thing? I can't remember, but was this thing warp-capable before it was Borgified? But even if it wasn't, it's clearly a spaceship. What's up with that?

To me it looks strictly inter-atmosphere, specifically designed (with the skids) for arctic and antarctic travel. I don't think it was warp capable until after the Borg started modifying it. If it was even remotely extra-atmosphere and warp capable, it probably would be on par with the Phoenix - Warp 1 or 2, maximum, due to its small size.

Hello Hellgate,

Thank you but I have already found these.

Hello Harry,

From what I understand it was originally just suppose to be a regular transport, like a modern transport plane, but the writers realised that you can't just turn a vehicle designed to atmospheric flight into a spacecraft so the transport became some sort of interplanetary/interstellar transport used for a regular Earth mission.

I have actually been in contact with Eden FX and have asked them if they have sketches/drawings or the models left on record.
No response from them yet though.

Well I finally got a response from Eden FX,

In short; they couldn't provide any schematics or models because they are the property of Paramount and thus can't be shared with others.

One dead road, hope there are others.

This is sad, especially considering these things will likely never see the light of day again, and the magazines don't show these schematics as frequently as they used to. -sigh- maybe one day.

Indeed, I wish at some point Paramount simply put this stuff online for the fans to go through.
The most popular models sooner or later are recreated by people, including even 'one-show' ship models if they are re-used often but I'm afraid that won't happen for the Assimilated Transport.

Damn :(
