Search For Spock - "face in the clouds" trailer?

I very randomly came across this thread which is perfect because I've been collecting the Trek movie trailers on 35mm film. A couple weeks ago I got a Search for Spock trailer and expected it to be the one that shows the Enterprise exploding, but it was one I had never seen before with Spock's face in the clouds. I watched it on a flatbed film editor and recorded the playback.

No. As Susan Sackett told me, the part of a studio that makes trailers to promote a movie is not answerable to anyone on the production team of a movie. No one was happy about the ST III trailer spoilerizing the demise of the Enterprise.

Sheeesh. Not just Susan. The same response has come from numerous sources. I believe then-Paramount publicist, Eddie Egan, has also said this. I can check with him if you consider him trustworthy.
