Scrolling issues.

This has just started happening as of late. When I try to scroll down it either doesn't want to work, or it scrolls past where I want it to go. Not to mention when I try to click on a link in a forum. It scrolls down when I do so.

This is frustrating. :scream:

I'm using Windows 8, and I did a scan with Avast! that came up clean recently and did a Spybot one earlier that seemed to turn out ok.

Going to be uninstalling and reinstalling both Firefox and Chrome to see if it helps any.

Anyone else run into this issue lately? If so, what did you do to fix it?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

^ This is very possible. One of my work computers has issues with the Windows mouse settings & the Logitech mouse settings.

They seem to be in conflict with each other and change my pointer speed & scroll speed settings at random.

I have the same mouse on another work computer & at home, and neither of those has this problem.

It could also be a problem the physical scrolling. It's amazing how even a $100 mouse can be physical crap.

Maybe it's your mouse?
I wish it were that simple :(. I took the batteries out of my wireless mouse and I haven't been using it since. Figured it was due to either dust in it or maybe the batteries were running low. But once I started using the touch pad, it started to act up in the same way. :scream:

So it seems as if it might be an OS (Windows 8) issue. I checked on their forums (Microsoft's) and other people are running into similar problems.
