Scott will be attending the Comedy Central roast of Bob Saget Sunday Aug 17 10 PM

He's not listed as a roaster...only an attendee for now, at least! Given his relationship with Saget, I'd guess anything could happen.

Bob Saget is gettin’ roasted… Comedy Central style! The event films on Sunday evening at The Warner Brother Studio Lot. The roast master will be John Stamos.Confirmed Roasters are as follows: Susie Essman, Greg Giraldo, Gilbert Gottfried, Artie Lange, Jon Lovitz, Norm Macdonald, Tracy Morgan, Jim Norton, Jeffrey Ross, Jonathan Silverman, and Jodi Sweetin.
Attendees: Scott Bakula, Greg Behrendt, Alonzo Bodden, Andrew Dice Clay, Chris Fairbanks, Jennifer Finnigan, Rex Lee, Lori Loughlin, Kathleen Madigan, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Brian Posehn, and Paul Provenza.
The “COMEDY CENTRAL Roast of Bob Saget” will air on Sunday, August 17 at 10:00 p.m.

It'd be cool if someone on the dais ragged on Scott for being in QUANTUM and TREK.

Thanks, for the information......

I've seen every Comedy Central roast so far, and won't be missing this one if I can help it...especially with guys like Bakula on the dais. Most of these roasts are funny as hell, especially the Shatner and Jerry Stiller ones.

Only two shots of Bakula in the audience laughing-- no one has ragged him so far...

Hilarious roast though

The first roast with a TREK and sci-fi actor in the audience who didn't get ragged on at least once.

Although I've nothing to base this on... I imagine Scott doesn't have a malicious bone in his body. These roast insults tend to be payback of one sort or another. I expect they queued around the block to take potshots at Shatner a few years back.

Scott...along with Kate Mulgrew...must be the TREK skipper with the fewest enemies.

I wonder what Scott Bakula's connection to Bob Saget is...?

I was under the impression that Roasters and guests should have some connection to the Roastee (Chevy Chase's roast notwithstanding). I remember Shatner's roast and I think everyone checked out, though I love how Rene Auberjonois had a perpetual "OMG, did he/she just really say that?!" look on his face.

Scott had a similar "that was really funny but should I laugh at it" looks the two or three times they cut to him.

Bakula knows lots of people in the biz--he's probably a friend of Saget's from however many years back. *shrug*

Indeed he did!

...and he basically had only one other tv gig, and it was hosting America's Funniest Home Videos.

The lack of career diversity was what all the other comedians roasted him over.

Boy, someone might have to correct me. I think Bob Saget and Scott Bakula both appeared in a Quantum Leap episode together. Maybe they formed a friendship then? Either that or they both know Kevin Bacon.

Heck, I'm sure I probably know Kevin Bacon and don't know it.

I watched some of the Saget roast tonight. It wasn't quite as repugnant as the 20 minutes of the Shatner roast I suffered through, but it was just as unfunny. I just assume the entire audience -- including Scott -- was drunk or stoned. It's the only way to explain the laughter.

God, please send back Dean Martin!
