scorpion king? (2002)

i'm still waiting for the movie of how Scorpy goes bad. thus far the series runs:

Scorpion King 2
Scorpion King 3
Scorpion King
The Mummy
The Mummy Returns
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

i want the movie that goes between Scorpion King 1 and Mummy Returns' prologue.

and, yes, Scorpion King is a decent, but not brilliant, action fantasy flick.

Yeah, The Scorpion King is set before the events seen in The Mummy Returns. And I'm guessin' we don't see him go from good-ish guy to bad guy in The Scorpion King because they were probably hopin' for a new series of movies spun off from The Mummy.

I really had to put aside the whole "Mummy Returns"/Scorpion King connection to fully enjoy the movie. Otherwise I'd be spending the whole time thinking "What's the point?!"
