Scifi's new programming

Dubbed or subtitles is not unwatchable.

The Australians have an odd little sitcom/sketch show on at the moment called "Soulmates" that falls under the syfy umbrella, that Syfy might think about acquiring, despite that that lot sorta speaks a weird degenerate pigeon type of English.

Continuum, The Almighty Johnsons, Lost Girl and Dominion are all imported series.

As we parse over the programming decisions made by the channel over the years, it is with some irony that this weekend's movie schedule offered the quality we wish they would maintain on a regular basis...

But then things go back to normal Monday...

It's always been hit and miss. We could use real SF programming.

Sorry, I should have been more specific, I meant shows not produced in English speaking countries.

That does ignore a lot of things produced in English-speaking countries, like Canada for instance. I mean, other than the stuff that is already produced in Canada for Syfy, Canada does have its own, like Being Erica and The Book of Todd, for instance, and raved about by those who've seen them. Those very two shows would fit in very well into even the current themes the channel is going for.

Somebody here is or was showing The Book of Todd. Now that I think of it, it might have been Fear.net, which was bought out by Sciffy, but has yet to return in any way.

Oh no.

Does that mean that Holliston's security is in play?

(Todd and the Book of Pure Evil reruns are okay, but if you are suggesting that someone is putting the band back together, which I doubt you are, then that is a Thanksgivings Miracle.)

I think he just means that while Syfy technically owns the rights to the show, that they haven't actually made use of it by airing it.

Yes, I knew that, but sometimes I have this thing called hope that people like you decide to crush. :(

If you like surreal horror comedy like Todd, look into Holliston.

^ LOL..."Shark Powered Lift-Away!" could also easily fit in, along side the rest of their Sat B movies. Make that "Mega Shark Powered Lift-Away!"

Nah, you need the "Sharktopus Powered" vacuum for full suction capacity.

Oh sorry, I didn't know that's what you were suggesting. If that's the case, we can only hope it gets revived at a certain point, but it's been a long time since the last episode rolled out of production.

I really don't know anything about it, except I saw the title on the menu before Fear.net disappeared. Never got a chance to watch.
