Okay, I gotta ask, what are these from?

It's from the Augsburger Puppenkiste, a German TV (and theater) production company doing puppet theater with cult status, every German knows them, and most grew up with their productions. The pic in question is from their most popular production, an adaption of Michael Ende's "Jim Knopf und Lukas der Lokomotivführer" ("Jim Button and Luke the Engine Driver").

Unfortunately, there's no English release of the TV mini-series. And though the book has been translated and released in English through Overlook Press in 1990, this edition is quite rare nowadays and therefore very expensive.

If someone's interested to learn more, just send me a PM.

Time for a recap! Poll goes up in 24 hours or so...

Kai, did ya want to use this, or the Star Wars[/] or Village of the Damned entries?

I think I'll go with the "Village of the Damned" one.

Well somebody got it, so I guess I'll go with that entry. :rommie: BTW, here's what it refers to (I thought this scene was more iconic than maybe it is):

"It's good you sent him to the Cornfield"

The remake Twilight Zone episode with Billy Mumy all grow up, playing the same part with his daughter playing the character's daughter (Ep Title - "It's Still a Good Life") was also very good.
