Contest: ENTER Scifi/F Av. Contest: And the Oscar Goes To...

This week's contest is about ANY science fiction or fantasy movie that has WON an Academy Award--in any category (best picture, cinematography, best score, visual effects..etc). A quick check on IMDB will tell you what (if any) Oscar that film won. It has to have actually WON, not just been nominated. Some examples: The Matrix, The Abyss, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Black Panther, Arrival, Mad Max: Fury Road, LOTR films, Superman, Gravity, Fantastic Voyage, ET and so on. A quick Google search will provide you lots of possibilities.

Standard av rules apply: 200 x 200 pixels max, 1 MB max, and work/Goggle safe. The poll will go up on Monday, the 17th. You may enter up to two avatars.

so many amazing possibilities from 2001 a space odyssey,
i landed on the first thing that really got me (except "the dawn of man") and thats the Hilton Space Station
what a great idea...one of many* (*grip shoe) in this movie.
