SciFi Airshow

I want to borrow a Viper. There's this company in Chi that keeps ignoring our requests for payments due...

They need to get some SHADO ships.

I did love the Eagle's annual visit to the moon on Sept. 13.

Agreed. Sky-1 at least (been watching the series of late, the pilot of Sky 1 is an ace already while the interceptors have killed 1 UFO and lost an interceptor. I'm assuming either the interceptors are just crummy one shot ships or the pilot of Sky 1 is just a lot better than his lunar counterparts, lol...

beat me to it, Dennis! Some very cool images there - love the night shot of the Spindrift and Flying Sub. He needs to expand his scenery a bit and have the airfield next to the water, with Seaview sitting docked, or just out into the water with its upper surfaces above water.

Hopefully he'll get crazy and do some animations - I'd love to see a landing of the Orion III, or a lift-off of the Hawk.

I thought these were real craft,and not props,but in this day where a Starfleet starship is pictured being built in a shipyard I know that image is faked I don't know that the navy had a project for the flying sub,and simply lent it out to Irwin Allen for Voyage to the bottom of the sea. I'll comb NatGeo's website to see if there is an article,and get back to you all.

The text capably backs up the graphics;

Sturdy, reliable and beautifully designed, the Eagles have been flying for over 30 years

"There are two joysticks and it’s just like a working a video game. Because of the cost of the upkeep they won’t let me crash her, but I’d love to mow down some trees someday"

:lol:

Im with you. I thought, well the viper at least, it was the prop they used on oldBSG when ever Apollo or Starbuck were stranded on a planet. I joined their facebook page for updates.

i visited your site and its pretty good. The car model looks like one of the cars Clive Cussler owns. Good stuff there...

^Yea, it's a nice car, but not mine. I tried modeling it in Blender at one point.
You were right even the NatGeo issue's cover was Photoshopped,but no article I'll do another search on the others,and yes The viper was a full scale prop on the show,but the Orion,Spindrift,the Eagles,Hawk let me check this out,and if turns out we're duped it was in good fun.
