Sci-fi related documentary on National Geographic July 25

Cool! I get NatGeo now. Half the stuff on my DVR schedule is from them. They do what Discovery Channel should do, but is too busy doing stories about fishermen and loggers. :wtf:

PS, for people trying to find this show, it's one episode in the Clash of the Continents series. (Turns out I've already got the whole thing scheduled in my DVR. Thought it sounded familiar!) :rommie:

Features lots of hidden sci fi references from Day the Earth Stood Still to Firefly. Producer was heavily into sci fi and we had a blast working with him.

Everyone I work with wonders why Nat Geo chose to use a production green screen shot for their website however...
I just tried to set up an automatic-channel change for this on my cable box and the episode listed in the guide for 9 pm Sunday is "Clash of the Continents."

Mine says that too. But in the description it also says "a hypothetical look at Earth 250 million years in the future."
