Sci Fi film "The Prototype" trailer

I've never heard of this, but I definitely will see it. I love giving these smaller, intellectual type of science fiction films a chance. This one looks to have the same scale and comparable budget as Looper, but it would be free from the kind of plot holes that adorned that film due to the time travel conceit- which always creates plot holes. This looks to have an edge to it that I really like. It looks like one of those 80's films that I used to find in the back of a video store.

It looks like a cheap and generic B movie, not in the same league as the excellent Looper, in my admittedly not very well informed opinion.

A remake of Star Trek's The Ultimate Computer. And in the same year Return of the Archons was remade as The Purge. I'm afraid the trailers made me nickname The Purge, "Return of the Archons: Part Dull." But this trailer does look a little more promising. It looks like it'll all hinge on the actor playing the mad scientist.

looks like Robocop with a bit of a twist -- and honestly, the 'Android with a transferred Human consciousness' meme is nothing new in the science fiction genre. (Hell, we had TOS' "What Are Little Girls Made Of" back in 1966.)

That said, the production values look solid; and it doesn't look like a bad film from the trailer.
