Schematics made with Vance's toolkit

Here are better pics of the two ships I posted earlier and a couple more.

I did a little stretching here, fudging there and of course I added color. :vulcan:
Nice work! When I saw the Cobra, I thought "Canopus?..." Had to look it up...
Reminds me of Sternbach's "Canopus Class" from the old SFC.
I always like these with color added too.

Max cruise speed on the Ark Royal is a bit low.

I enlarged the JPG for the Ark and I should have redone the stats block. Max Warp, is suppose to read 8.2 warp.

When I did the Cobra, I was shooting for derivative on the same theme as the Canopus, Sagittarius and Paris Class ships. The Cobra would be an alternate shipyard take on the Sagittarius. Also, the reason I designed it was as a Pre-TOS compliment to a Bravo Fleet ship I ran years ago.

Looks cool to me :) :techman:

The USS Cobra was a Raptor Class ship in the Bravo Fleet play-by-email RPG. Of course it was non-canon and is no longer used by BF as a player ship type. Like the Defiant Class it was part of the stop gap effort to rebuild the fleet after Wolf 359. In Bravo Fleet, they saw action in the Dominion War and other actions.

I did this schematic about a year ago, just for the hell of it. All I had was one picture and an animated gif to go by.

It was a fun project.

I Have done another ship. I was hoping one of you could add the name and number on the hull. I can't get the Constitution class hull font, it's not free and I'm too cheap to pay $15. I'll let who ever letters it pick the NCC number.

So, here it is.

Also, someone might come up with a purpose for this craft.

A few more pre-TOS ships, that waited to be uploaded:

Miyakonojo Maru class frighter

(The city of Miyakonojo is a large city in the same prefecture as the city of Kobayashi . ;) The Design is obviously based on the ST XI appearence of Kobayashi Maru)

...and some more updates:

As with the Congress, i recently found the components used on my Atlantis too modern for the lower registry, so i assumed the "Cage era" version to be refitted from a more primitive version. Also i tweaked the weapon placement a little.

[Edit] grabbed the false links for one pic

And here comes the big sacrilege:

Also i speculated, that Enterprise herself did look different in 2245 than in "The Cage". As current chronolgies have it, the ship was lauched the same as in the cage and was not altered for almoust 20 years and three missions, then she was refitted prior to Kirks first mission only to undergo a mayor refit less than 10 years later. So i cooked up a slightly less advanced version (the components of which have all been seen on other of my ships), which would be refitted to the version seen in "The Cage" between Pikes first and second mission.

Also i speculated, that the prototype Constitution looked a little less advanced than her sisters, when she was lauched. The first refit (ca 2250) would bring her to the same standard.
