Schematics made with Vance's toolkit

The "Male Symbols" were definately a nice touch. :P

Looking at it, though, I kinda like the coupling for the nacelles that you chose. I know it's off the Durance (I think... I'll have to look again), but it's surprisingly good for the PB-32s as well.

The form of the nacelle-coupling comes quite naturally with the number of the nacelles and the way they are grouped ;)

What design is the U.S.S. Murder?

But back to some serious design:

New Zion class light carrier

(In spirit with USNs naming tradition for light carriers after an earth colony that was heavily fought over in the romulan war.)

New Zion needs a pair of low-slung nacelles reaching down from the lower secondary hull. She looks a little off-balance with just one coming from the saucer.

The idea with New Zion is, that the secondary hull does not contain any parts of the drive system but is dedicated to hangar operations. Sort of a destroyer/scout with an large flight deck added. So i don't want to have more than one nacelle. I'll probably make the secondary hull smaller and move the sensor/deflector dish to the front of the saucer (Defiant-A style ;)) .

No, no P2 or TMP stuff from me. Since my graphic tool does not offer a function to have text follow a curved line, i have to do this by hand, with TOS-markings only the registry number is affected, which is doable, but with P2, TMP and later the name would have to be done also, which i am much to lazy to do.
