Scheherazade Versions???

Number One

Commodore

Hi all.
I was wondering...
There was this mixed tape(I Think maybe the creator just added all the tracks from one album, dunno really) my sister used to have, labeled "Silk road"

It had the best guitar based Scheherazade version I've ever listened to.

I tried to get it to convert since I can't find which one it is, but it seems it's overwritten. Can you help me trace it, suggest something, maybe it's part of a collection? My sister can;t help, she hardly remembers it.

It was recorded some 15-20 years back. Other tracks are called Oasis, Anatolia, Mirage, Samarkand, Potala, Mongolian Steppe, Monsoon, Mekong, Silk Road 1/2... There is a name on it "idieu Julia" don't now if it's relevant or not.

And it's not one of that very good Japanese guys' performances either. Someone at least as good though and talks to your soul...

I'd really appreciate any help or even direction to another site that I may find this info.

I don't think this is all off one album. I did a quick search (not too extensive) and couldn't find anything through google that matches.

Let me know if you find it, though, especially the Scheherezade (one of my favorite pieces of music). I'd love to hear what's hung with you for this long.

Yeah, found it, accidentally today(strictly speaking in US time, or Yesterday for Greece). It was another tape. The experience of listening to it, it's not quite the same as it were back then(my music taste obviously evolved), but it is pleasant to know it's there and accessible.

Moreso, cause I've been searching for it for months and I doubt it can be found commercially. Now I have to find me the best conversion method.

Thanks for trying to help btw!!!
