The new Battlestar Galactica has some hot scenes, Starbuck had some pretty hot sessions with Lee Adama and Leoban...but Buffy and Spike's sexual escapades in season 6 of Buffy have always stood out in my mind as being particularly hot. Sarah Michelle Gellar was just...well, she just seemed so into getting the bidness from Spike that it made the scenes seem hotter than they actually were.

As for actual sex scenes, since Species' entire premise is about a sex scene, it's always going to spring to mind in a thread like this. But it also contains the biggest turn-off any guy can hear, even when coming from a stunning alien-human hybrid: "Don't leave... I want a baby!"

Man, that line's more frightening than her tentacles...

I don't know about best, but one I remember is the scene in soylent green where the girl seduces Charlton Heston in the fancy apartment. She talks about how she's going to turn the air conditioner on all the way, but what really gets him to stay is that he can take a shower for as long as he wants.

Charlton Heston then lets out this creepy laugh as they're showering nude together, then presses his body aganist her.

I'm always thankful Edward G. Robinson wasn't granted a similar scene.

Both of those came to mind. The BSG scene had to be Lee and Sarbuck in their not-quite-sex scene.

Buffy and Spike's first was violent and dramatic. Maybe too much of a writer fantasy though

I think Terminator did it well. Nothing too over the top or explicit and it resulted in the saviour of Earth. Not too bad for a quickie with a time traveller.

I saw Galaxy Of Terror in the early 80's on Cinemax. I was around 14 or 15. The scene where the naked girl gets raped by the giant worm sticks in my mind

I wish this would come out on DVD.
