SC2 Commercial

Rii

Rear Admiral
The following SC2 commercial debuted a few hours ago in the United States.

Some of the clips we've seen before, others we haven't. Of particular interest is the very Nova-esque Ghost featured in several of the clips. Is it Nova? Another shot I particularly liked was the face of the pocketwatch slamming shut, which recalls a similar shot from the Brood War introductory cinematic featuring a cigarette lighter.

In any case it certainly looks as though Blizzard's cinematics team - which is somewhat larger than the Starcraft II or Diablo III teams - has been busy. More crumbs for the faithful. :)

Man, that is one pretty commercial, I for one cannot wait for the StarCraft II release date myself, the closer we get the better it seems to be!

The opinion about the Ghost seen in the commercial seems to be leaning toward her being Sarah Kerrigan, pre Queen of Blades, of course; and I would think the rumors are right, unless someone else knows about another female Ghost being vastly outnumbered by the Zerg in the StarCraft 'verse. Perhaps we are witnessing the assimilation of a Queen of Blades II?

Bring on July 27th!

I'm sooo freaking Glad Blizzard dropped the "Star Craft Ghost" Idea. That game would have been just awful! But SC2 is gonna make me jizz!! I'm already been pre-cumming for years. (talk about blue balls)

BTW Why are the NOT planning on making a WC or SC MOVIE?! That would be epic!

Im not so sure Star Craft Ghost would have been terrible. It seems like a great concept to me, they just couldn't get it to work. I hope they revisit the idea someday

I guess this means we're in the final stages. They still haven't announced if they're returning the Scouts and Reavers.

Everyone was pissed the Reavers got axed, but I seem to be the only one crying for the Scouts.... so underused... so under appreciated...
