I don't remember the whispers either, I'm just reading what some internerds found out. They probably cranked the volume (no EVP jokes!).

But she did scream about John Locke and stuff. And then she talked about Yemi. Her experience is definitely linked to the island in some way, and I just thought that another case of drowning and coming back to life was a neat parallel.

Something I found interesting reading today was about Charlotte Malkin. If you recall, she was the daughter of the psychic that Claire spoke with. Eko also spoke with him when investigating miracles, and Charlotte's story was that she had drowned and come back to life a couple hours later. Apparently in the tape of her autopsy, whispers could be heard, implying something to do with the island/others. So she might have had a similar experience as Sayid (drowning and coming back to life).

Shoot! I don't even remember this scene!
