The wife and I were in Last Vegas last week. We planned our vacation for that week specifically because James Darren was going to be performing at the South Point casino on July 16, and we wanted to get tickets for my parents and us to see him, being that it was my mother's birthday (they retired out to Vegas).
We saw the show, which was filled with music and comedy, an all around good time. He sounded as great as he always has (we saw him in 2009 in the Poconos in Pennsylvania). He mentioned DS9 numerous times throughout his performance, and even had multiple clips in a video montage of all his work during one song.
Here are some pictures I took during the show:

Then after the show, my wife and I decided to wait outside the doors of the venue, hoping to possibly get a picture with him.
There were a few other people waiting to meet him as well--though I did feel slightly out of place, being that the other people waiting for him were very clearly in their 70s or older themselves, and I'm in my early 30s.
Luckily, he did come out. My wife approached him and thanked him for the show. She asked if we could take a picture, and he agreed.

He was very nice. Because there were other people there, his attention was somewhat diverted to them as well (which is understandable). But he did ask me where I was from--perking up when I said Philadelphia, since he is from South Philly--and even shook my hand when I extended it.
All around, it was a very nice time and a memory I will cherish forever.
