ahh nerds. Idiots who think that a filmaker is going to read an online petition. Even though they're probably too busy writing the movie. And they don't surf to emopetitions.com to see what complete nobodies think of a movie that they haven't even seen yet.

I'd be surprised if anybody involved in Trek XI would even know about this petition even in the unlikely event it got a million signatures. Nobody cares. No one will read it.

Maybe this timeline features dramatic differences. Like... say... if Vulcan were to be blown up. If the Vulcans in the series were suddenly the last of their kind, alone in the universe, it would change who they are and maybe even redefine their strict rejection of emotion in favor of logic.

then reporting a plot point.

for that matter the primary rumor according to him is that nimoys spock is the star of the move and most of it is about him.

i dont know if i believe that either.
