News hounds film Sanctuary team at work! Like Cops meets X-Files, or that new horror film with Jennifer Carpenter.

And that's it. I suppose that they do it well enough---this is a wonderful premise for a cheap episode---and the characters are pleasant enough.
But Sanctuary is fundamentally garish and drab doesn't serve it well.

Below average.

I personally liked it. But then, I've enjoyed all the eps so far. It was also nice to see Rekha Sharma outside of BSG. ;)

I rather enjoyed this episode. I was sad to see the camera guy die.

The blonde daughter (Ashley?) really gets on my nerves. She is far too culture compliant for someone who grew up in her environment. She should carry herself with more of her mother's bearing and less of a modern teen's attitude.

See, I don't see the attraction at ALL. The hair is fake, her face is nothing special, and she just has nothing unique about her.

^ I can definitely understand how some people would think that (and I'm not saying your opinion isn't valid). But there's just something about her that totally works for me.

I bascially liked the ep. The off-camera cameraman had to deliver a little too much dialogue. Once we saw him I figured he was doomed. Keeping him alive so he thwarted the reporter and Ashley had to go out with him would have been a nicely different twist.

That was the first time I've liked Ashley, when she was actually nice to the camera guy. For the first time I thought she acted like a girl who's grown up in the weird circumstances she has SHOULD act.
