Samuel Jackson to be in remake of The Blob

Will there be any motherf&©king blobs on motherf&©king planes?

Still, Hollywood has been out of ideas for decades, so a re-remake isn't necessarily a bad thing.

You stole my thoughts.

That line is a classic if there were Blobs on a plane he'd say that. I have a soft spot for Snakes On A Plane

Thirty years is plenty. They remake Body Snatchers every few decades, So why not The Blob?

My reaction, too. Thirty years is "not too long ago"? :)

Most of the target audience wasn't even born when the last remake came out . . . and, sadly, the 1988 version didn't make much of a splash, so the average moviegoer has never seen or heard of it. (A shame, because I liked it, too.)

Indeed, the 1958 original and the 1988 remake were . . . thirty years apart.

Sadly, as you get old, 1988 doesn't seem that long ago...
