Salted rim, gin and grapefruit juice. All Salty Dogs go to Heaven, I say.

At one stage I used to drink straight cocoa powder, black (with hot water). Cocoa powder has no sugar in it or milk products. So it was like an espresso hot chocolate only I'd have a whole cup of it. It was very good. I eventually had to give it up because it gave me heart palpitations but just thinking about it I think I might have one again.

I invented this but you are all free to steal this wonderful idea from me.

Having done a few trips in the British Virgin Islands lately, become a fan of Painkillers:

4 parts Pineapple Juice
1 part OJ
1 part Cream of Coconut
1 part (or more) dark rum. Pusser's if you are doing it correctly
Garnished with fresh ground nutmeg!

Drank GALLONS of this stuff on the sailboat charters, had it at the official Pusser's bar, all over the islands, and at the Soggy Dollar on Jost Van Dyke, where it was allegedy invented. (although prefer Gertrude's next door...)
