I "stole" it from the Daily Mail obituary. But I have to say the youtube vid of Malcom tops it all. Ironic how somebody's death can somehow lead to entertainment for others.

Vulcans gave humans the blueprint to an evolved being. Smart, rational, elegant, sophisticated and in T'Pol's case absolutely stunning.
Seriously I think Spock was extremely well created by Roddenberry. Human enough to interact yet alien enough to be interesting.

I think you're projecting Spock onto the Vulcan people as a whole - something the on-screen evidence shows they're entirely undeserving of.

The Vulcan people have never lived up to their high minded ideals.
